Product Design Sprint
Task 3: Propose a New Onboarding Flow
Now it's time to design a solution. Create low-fidelity wireframes for a new onboarding flow that solves the problems you've identified. Remember the stakeholder constraints!
1. Use a Wireframing Tool
Use a tool like Figma or Miro. Focus on structure and flow, not colors or fonts. Boxes and lines are perfect.
2. Focus on the "Aha!" Moment
The goal is to get the user to their "aha!" moment faster. How can you remove friction and guide them from the welcome screen directly into their first meaningful action?
3. Respect the Constraints
Remember the Engineering Lead: "No new screens." You must work within the existing structure. Think about changing the layout, copy, and order of existing screens.
4. Tell a Story
Your wireframes should tell a clear story: a user arrives, understands what to do, and is immediately guided into the first task, eliminating the "empty dashboard" dead end.
Rules & Context
I thought this was a normal course.
Too much text, I skipped reading.
Didn’t know when the real work starts.
What happens after I choose a role?
Concept seems interesting, but unclear.
- Explain Metinova better without adding steps.
- No new screens. Copy and layout changes are fine.
- Users must feel excited immediately. This is about careers.
